Super Bowl 50 Advertisers

The Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos will compete for the title and reputation of Super Bowl winners this February 7th. However, the Super Bowl is so much more than a football battle – it is an arena for marketers to show off their latest advertising campaigns. This year, top brands are spending up to $5 million on the coveted advertising slot during the Super Bowl commercials. Here is the upcoming lineup and their advertising campaigns:

Bud Light

The beer company said their new advertising campaign is not just focusing on the Super Bowl. According to the brand, it will be “a completely new communication of what Bud Light stands for – inclusivity, positivity and fun.” The new set of ads feature comedian Amy Schumer and actor Seth Rogan campaigning for The Bud Light Party. This campaign begins at the Super Bowl but will extend with digital and native creatives into the rest of 2016.

Colgate

The toothbrush brand will run a save water #EveryDropCounts campaign to encourage customers and viewers to turn off the faucet while brushing their teeth. According to the brand, brushing while the faucet is running wastes almost four gallons of water.

Doritos

The three finalists have bene posted, and viewers can vote on their favorite until January 31st. The winner will have their commercial air during Dorito’s Super Bowl ad.

LG Electronics

This will be LG’s first debut in the realm of Super Bowl ads. They are promoting the new OLED TV featuring actor Liam Neeson, and utilizing action/thriller themes. The #OLEDisHere Twitter campaign allows viewers to tweet the hashtag for the opportunity to win an OLED TV – and is sure to be a popular contest among millennials.

Taco Bell

Taco Bell will be unveiling a new menu item during its Super Bowl ad. The mystery item campaign began with a press release that leaves out the item’s major descriptions and details. The food item is supposed to be a highly anticipated one that combines two flavors for the first time. This will leave fans at the edge of their seats to see what Taco Bell is doing next – after their introduction of breakfast waffle tacos.
